Job Description
Seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance and Accounting Manager who wants to put his/her skills and expertise to work, taking the lead in setting up a start-up Finance & Lending Company (an affiliate of xchange PH).
The position will be based in Manila, Philippines and will report directly to the Finance Director. The Finance and Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Driving start-up activities and complying with requirements
- Developing the Accounting systems which will include Client Portfolios
- Establishing the Accounting Team
- Managing the Accounting Team and operations
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant
- A minimum of ten years professional experience, with at least three years in a Financing/Lending Company
- Experience in a financial management role, partnering with executive staff, with at least five years experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in external audit and bookkeeping services,
- Excellent analytics and experience with financial statements and Excel,
- Knowledgeable in computerized accounting, such as QuickBooks and NetSuite,
- Knowledgeable of BIR, SEC and other government requirements,
- Highly resourceful, independent, and self-starting,
- Suited to work in a fluid startup environment in the Philippines,
- Interest in social development issues
